Video of Death Pilot Andrea Antonelli
The Italian rider Andrea Antonelli, 25, died after suffering a fatal accident during a race World Supersport motorcycle circuit in Moscow, Russian authorities reported.
"The Italian rider died of trauma caused by the accident," said a source from the Russian police official news agency RIA-Novosti.
Antonelli lost control of his motorcycle at the start of the race and fell, and there was rammed by compatriot Lorenzo Zanetti.
The strong impact caused a head injury after the accident was taken to hospital in critical condition center of the circuit, but doctors finally could do nothing for her life.
After the accident the race was suspended and also the organizers decided to cancel the second round of the Superbike that was scheduled for later.
